Altadena Prefab Showcase

Building a Faster, More Affordable Path Home

Join the Altadena Recovery and Rebuild Corporation (ARRC) and our community partners—including CityLAB UCLA, Los Angeles County, and others—for our upcoming Prefab Showcase at 2231 Lincoln Avenue.

Visitors will have the opportunity to walk through model units, speak directly with builders and designers, and learn more about how prefab housing can simplify the journey home.

What is Prefab?

Prefabricated, or “prefab,” housing refers to homes that are built off-site in sections and assembled on location. By moving much of the construction process into a controlled factory environment, prefab homes can be completed faster, more affordably, and with less waste than traditional builds. For fire survivors and communities rebuilding after disaster, this approach offers a reliable and resilient path home—without sacrificing quality, comfort, or design.
